Understanding Pittsburgh:
A Guide for International Visitors and Residents

Understanding Pittsburgh: A Guide for International Visitors and Residents is a comprehensive interactive CD-ROM tool designed as a crash course in Pittsburgh to help international visitors acclimate to the region as quickly as possible.

This program, created by the Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors, is ideal for anyone from individuals to corporations looking to help large numbers of new employees in their transition.  The content includes helpful information on a wide range of topics, including immigration, entertainment, food, money, housing and transportation, just to name a few.

The information is both essential and practical.  The CD-ROM is specifically designed for international visitors; therefore, the language is brief and clear for those whose English vocabulary may not yet be fully formed.
